‘Mycelio Tronics’ is an experimental track from The Netherlands. It is a bit Leftfield but complex and it’s hypnotic with pulsing rhythmic progressions, that evolve over time. Archaic’s’ music, is highlighting its experimental nature, complexity & rhythms. The tracks of Mycelio Tronics ‘EP’ are released on the label Electric Music Foundation and is the spectral result of their adventure, lost in a jungle of wires and circuits. #experimental #ambient #drumandbass Archaic – Mycelio Tronics | Electric Music Foundation

Archaic – ‘Into the Void’, published as download & Limited edition Cdr by ZeroK Record Label: https://zerok.bandcamp.com/album/intothevoid ‘Archaic’ is the electronic music project of Modular Scapes and He-Man from The Netherlands.

Their paths serendipitously intersected at a vibrant local cultural concert hall, where classical music, eclectic melodies and live performances ignited their shared passion for music, technology, and diverse musical interests. Their shared workplace with Willem Twee Studios (Netherlands), made them interested into the world of modular synthesis and the collaborative efforts provided the perfect sonic adventure. In the Willem Twee Studios they found themselves entangled in a web of intricate patch cables and mesmerising oscillators. Discovering the complexities of modular synthesis and navigating the labyrinthine pathways of signal flow, they created intricate eerie sonic landscapes. The album “into the Void” released by ZeroK label is the spectral result of their adventure, lost in the electronic jungle of wires and circuits.

A-side: Synth and the base are incorporated into the beat rhythmically, a slowly surfacing Détaché. A side of good quality techno track that invites the elation, B side with KEHREN sets off a kick with a hard hat and a sense of weight in the SE with a stretch. Text by Diskunion お茶の水駅前店

Four tracks of diverse and different techno make up Deep Sound Channel’s first compilation. Past alumnus Tripeo returns with the hulking tribalism of “Raz.” Breaks are built and rebuilt, demolished and razed in this gritty thumping workout. Najem Sworb, of Clone and AI fame, is up next with the warbling atmospherics of “Io Ice” before Matt TdK delivers the frigid and frosted “4714.” The finale is a smouldering sign off. Jelle Groen, under his Modular Scapes alias, serves a brooding acid infused piece bathed in 90s IDM flows. Limited to 250 coloured copies in a printed sleeve.

Review Juno : Shipwrec’s sub-label has been as supportive of techno as its parent’s championing of techno, and this is audible on this split release. Tripeo opens it with the screeching, metal-plated “Raz”, an intense, peak-time track that recalls Jay Denham and Jeff Mills. Once the dust settles, Najem Sworb resets the mood with the dense, dubby techno of “Io Ice”. Matt TDK’s “4.7.14” is in a similar vein, although on this occasion, cold, chiming bleeps accompany the resonating bass. The mellowest contribution is left till last, with Modular Scape’s “Reflecting Silhouettes” revolving around trippy acid pirouettes and 90s-style, complex Black Dog rhythms.

Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy.

Frole Records presents the second vinyl release, this time a producer from the Netherlands. Detache is a young producer influenced by Detroit, deep house and modern techno. U010011 is the typical Detroit track with an undoubted feeling to it. Featuring a dub atmosphere, playful synths & dreamy pads. The remixes are made by Anonym (Sushitech and Francesco Bonora (Abstract Theory) & Mirko (Etichetta Nera) who are staying in this dreamy realm. The track is made at a lakeside which is portrait by the artwork. Valley of Shadows is a deep track that is characterised by the dub sound from Berlin. A solid tune full of deep chords and pads that transcends the mind.
